Asset Tracking and Fleet Monitoring
Know where your important assets are at all times. Our asset trackers are battery powered, with up to 5 years life before needing a battery change, which makes installing or moving them a breeze. Or we can provide wired models that allow you to immobilize an engine in case of theft, and provide its exact location to the police to speed recovery.

Our sensors are typically battery / solar powered, and connected via a Low Power Wide Area Network (LPWAN) which means that installation does not require extensive wiring and disruption of facilities. Reporting and control is web based and accessed via a customised dashboard and alerting system that provides full visibility and control of your operation. A combination of sensors and relays can enable automated control of pumps and valves depending upon pressure and tank level thresholds, or any other sensor input (temp, weather, movement, vibration, tilt angle, motion, etc.). We use off-the-shelf equipment whenever available, but if necessary we can build custom hardware to meet your particular requirements (contact us for our Water Treatment System Use Case).
Seismic Ambient Noise Monitoring
Geophysical exploration techniques such as seismic reflection introduce an acoustic signal into the ground and measure the response reflected from the underlying geology. In order to ensure a high quality image of the subsurface, it is essential to account for the ambient, or background seismic noise level, produced from man-made activities such as road and rail traffic, construction and heavy industry, as well as natural events such as wind and rain.
Since the advent of nodal (or ‘blind’) seismic recording systems, the monitoring of ambient noise levels has been a concern, as real-time data is no longer observed. One solution has been to deploy traditional cable-based noise monitoring lines, however this is both expensive and has limited spatial coverage. RemEX provides a cost effective cable-free ambient noise monitoring system (ANM) which complements nodal seismic data acquisition and provides real-time monitoring sampled across the whole active spread.

Ground Vibration and Motion Detection
Our proprietary Seismic Noise Monitors measure very small movements of the ground, and provide real-time updates of ground motion (background ambient seismic noise). The devices use an integrated solar panel and battery to allow continuous field usage without the need to revisit for charging. They operate in Periodic mode, which provides average ground noise measurement at intervals as low as 30 seconds, and Trigger mode where the device will alert if the average or peak noise values exceed a predefined threshold.
